Ascent Media services for Disney included: Editorial mastering services for First Run theatrical releases and TV shows (both traditional and DI), live action and animation restoration, creation of DVD’s through DLT deliverables (Design/C&A), syndication feeds, VOD asset management, complete sound services, asset management (including naming conventions), digital distribution of assets, re-mastering for foreign languages, foreign language translations, sub titling and captioning, media services (QC, DRS, conversions, laybacks, front and end credit inserts, and re-mastering for all foreign territories), development of new technologies tied to workflows, joint venture for anti-piracy initiatives, and continuing a strategic partnership with Disney.
